Wild Wild West

The 10 rikishi fighting from the West during the first-half of the Makuuchi bouts on day 2 all won as seen in the denkouban hanging in the Ryogoku Kokugikan.  Though the Sumo Association doesn't keep track of such statistics, it's an extremely rare feat.  At the 2000 Kyushu basho, a similar occurrence happened when all 12 rikishi fighting from the West during the Juryo bouts won their contests.
